Film it: rug under the chair, 0.5x wide, five spins per outfit, chair never moves
how-toOn hardwood the chair walks. On a rug it spins in place - and the cut stays invisible.
Tripod or stable surface, still for the whole shot. Frame full body with room around the subject - shot on a phone in 0.5x. Put the chair on a high-friction surface such as a rug. Record, get in position, spin at least five times (if interrupted, keep spinning - it is cut anyway). Stand up carefully without shifting the chair, change from outfit one to outfit two, sit back down in the exact spot, spin five more times looking dizzy and confused. Pausing recording during the change is fine as long as the camera is untouched. Suggested treatment: work clothes at a desk -> dinner clothes -> walk off -> a shot eating at a restaurant.
A cheap, repeatable 'outfit change' for product or brand reels - the rug is the detail nobody tells you.
