The shutter rule overexposes in bright sun. You can break the rule, or you can put sunglasses on the sensor.

Each phone lens has one aperture, permanently - f1.5, f1.8 and f2.8 across the iPhone 13's three - so only shutter speed and ISO are adjustable.
