The Make workspace and scenario toolbar

Scenarios is where you live. Everything else is plumbing you touch once.

Tabs: Scenarios (activate, folders, history), AI agents (beta, skipped), Templates (search by app, guided setup), Connections, Webhooks, Keys, Devices, Data stores and Data structures. Scenario toolbar: Run once; schedule (e.g. every 15 minutes); activate; save; scenario inputs/outputs; settings (leave defaults); notes; previous versions; auto-align; explain flow; export and import blueprint (JSON).

Connecting a personal Gmail through a custom Google OAuth client

Two authorised domains, one test user, one redirect URI. Get those three right and Google lets Make in.

PROCEDURE: in the Gmail module click Add > show advanced settings > follow Make's 'connect to Google services using custom OAuth client' guide. Google Cloud Console: new project ('make test') > enable Gmail API and Google Drive API (also Sheets, Forms as needed) > Google OAuth platform > Get started: app name, user support email, audience External, contact email > Branding > authorised domains make.com and integromat.com > Audience > add your own address as a Test user > leave Data access scopes empty > Clients > Create client > Web application > name > add the redirect URI shown by Make > copy client ID and secret into Make > sign in with Google. Needed for non-Workspace Gmail; never share the secret.

The Make AI assistant

Describe the automation in a sentence; it hands back the blueprint and a list of what to wire up.

Prompt: 'when a new row is added to my Google Sheet, send an email'. The assistant returns a blueprint with Watch New Rows and Send an Email modules plus setup notes. Free accounts get 30 credits for 7 days.
